Today Show host Karl Stefanovic’s estranged wife Cassandra Thorburn has broken her silence about the severe emotional toll her marriage collapse has created.
Speaking to website Mum Central, Cass confessed she was mourning the fact she is now single, after so many years of happy marriage.
‘I’m grieving the loss of my relationship,’ she told the site. ‘The loss of my best friend and life partner.’
Despite the pain she is going through, Cass says it’s been some solace that so many people have reached out to her in her time of need.
‘I’ve had the most incredible messages from people reaching out and people I don’t even know have offered their support,’ she saids ‘But if you do see me in the street, just some compassion would be nice.’
