Following a ratings win for the Today show, co-host Karl Stefanovic’s wife took to Facebook to ‘congratulate’ herself for the part she played in the show’s success.
‘Apparently Today Show finally won a year,’ Cassandra Thorburn, 44, wrote. Adding, ‘This took a huge toll on my family and I, and I’m congratulating myself today for all the effort that went into making that happen.’
Since Karl joined the show 12-years-ago, Thorburn reveals she has been the driving force behind him and his work.
‘The suggestions, the story ideas, the constant counselling of questions for years,’ she added. ‘I’m giving myself a pat on the back tonight, as I know many people will also know how much effort I put into it.’
Thorburn’s post comes a month after he split with Karl was announced.
