He may be the king of commercial TV, but when it comes to navigating his split, Today host Karl Stefanovic has discovered it’s his wife Cassandra Thorburn who’s calling the shots.
With Cass spotted turning away a sheepish-looking Karl from their long-time family home in Sydney, insiders tell New Idea she has put her foot down in the wake of the couple’s shock decision – telling Karl she intends to keep their new $7 million harbour-front mansion, which they reportedly purchased recently.
‘Cass has sacrificed everything to raise Karl’s kids while he pursued his dreams of becoming a network star,’ an insider tells New Idea. ‘She has earned every cent she gets [in the wake of the break-up].’
