Along with his new TV gig, it appears This Time Next Year host Karl Stefanovic has a big announcement to make.
“I’ve always tried to make my life a little bit better and to try and be a better person, and I think if I’m presenting that show then I’ve to live by it as well,” he told 9Entertainment.

“I’ve tried over the last 12 months to two years to be a better person and to try and be easier to live with and make life easier for those around me.”
Karl, who married shoe designer Jasmine Yarbrough last year, revealed he’d learnt a lot since leaving Today.
“It might be this time next week or maybe this time tomorrow, just try and do some nice things for other people and that for me is a really important part of life now,” he said.
As Karl turns over a new leaf, could his eagerness to be the best version of himself be a sign he’s preparing to be a father again?
