Karl Stefanovic has been put in an awkward spot on Today this morning, amid ongoing reports that his marriage to wife of 21 years, Cassandra Thorburn, is in trouble.
Describing the divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a ‘big media story’, he said during the Mixed Grill segment: ‘You can obviously argue it is no one’s business what is going on inside there, but they are high profile, it is a tough one.’
Karl, who has often discussed other celebrities’ private lives over the years during his hosting duties on Today, is believed to have moved out of the family home. He has so far made no statement about the matter on the show.
