Karl Stefanovic has finally broken his silence over his new – and somewhat controversial – relationship with girlfriend Jasmine Yarbrough.
Speaking to Stella magazine, the Today host appeared cautious to give too much away.
‘I met her on a boat in Sydney. We have a really lovely relationship but it’s got to be slow for a number of reasons,’ he confessed.
The father-of-three also admitted he regrets alienating female viewers of the Channel 9 show in the wake of his separation from wife of 21-years Cassandra Thorburn.
‘I know … maybe there are some women out there who are angry with me, but I’ve never tried to be anything other than myself and I have to hope that the audience, and particularly females if that is true, that one day they’re OK and they come back and say “I’m giving him another go”,’ he told the publication.
Karl and 33-year-old model, Jasmine made their first appearance as a couple at Fashion Week earlier this year.
