Sylvia Jeffreys has seemingly fuelled reports this week that Karl Stefanovic and wife Jasmine will soon have some baby news to share, during a telling chat on the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

The A Current Affair star, who is married to Karl’s brother Peter Stefanovic, cheekily mentioned what the newlywed duo have been getting up to since Karl was turfed from the TODAY Show.
When asked by guest host Beau Ryan what Karl had doing since disappearing from the spotlight, Sylvia knowingly smirked and responded, ‘I think he’s been keeping busy in other ways…’
The cheeky response has been perceived today as a sly reference to reports that Karl and Jasmine may already be expecting.
Jasmine added that Karl ‘is in a great place,’ and that things are really good for him.’
It seems that getting off the breakfast TV treadmill is working wonders for the star.
‘At the moment, I think he is enjoying his time off the early starts,’ she added.
‘He did 14 years [as host of the Today show]. And it’s a real pressure cooker environment, on top of the early starts.
‘His beautiful wife, Jas, is a wonderful support to him.’
Sylvia’s comments come amid published reports claiming Karl and Jasmine might soon be making a special announcement.
The couple themselves have been silent on the matter. Exciting!
