Today show host Karl Stefanovic was absent from this morning’s show amid divorce rumours.
Silivia Jeffreys, filled in for Stefanovic, briefly blamed his absence on doing ‘a 60 Minutes tidy up.’
She added: ‘He had a couple of loose ends on a story he’s finishing, so he’ll be back in the chair tomorrow.’
The Sunday Telegraph reported over the weekend that Stefanovic, 42, split with his wife of 21 years, Cassandra Thorburn.
Stefanovic has moved out of the family home and is now staying in friend James Packer’s Bondi apartment.
The couple have three children – Jackson, 16, Ava, 11, and 10-year-old River – together.
