Karl Lagerfeld is not holding back when it comes to Kim Kardashian West’s Paris robbery.
The creative director of Chanel criticised the reality star for her lack of security and flaunting her riches on social media.
‘I don’t understand why she was in a hotel with no security and think like this,’ the 83-year-old told Reuters at Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday
‘If you are that famous and you put all your jewelry on the net, you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room,’ he continued.
‘You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you.’
Despite his critical words, the German designer did share a message of support to Kim immediately after news surfaced that Kim had been gagged, handcuff and robbed at gunpoint.
‘Dearest Kim, We are all with you. Love, Karl,’ he wrote on a note and shared on social media.
