Kanye West has been described as ‘profoundly depressed and paranoid,’ according to TMZ
After the rapper was rushed to UCLA Medical Centre on Monday following an alleged mental breakdown, reports state he was ‘convinced people were out to get him’.
According to the US gossip site, Kanye was so paranoid upon entering the facility that he wouldn’t even let doctors and nurses touch him.
The latest news comes just days after TMZ reported his condition was worse than first feared.
Although he was initially reported to be suffering from a temporary psychosis brought on by sleep deprivation and extreme dehydration, it has been suggested that the rapper’s problems ‘go deeper’.
Despite Kanye’s worsening situation, it is thought that his doctors are hopeful he can be released home by Monday into the care of his personal doctor.
