Concern for Kanye West’s psychological welfare continues after the rapper met with Donald Trump to talk about “life.” The incident comes amid reports that his wife Kim Kardashian is increasingly worried by his strange behaviour and wants out.
The 39-year-old requested the 15-minute meeting with the President-elect, after calling him a “genius” at one of his Saint Pablo concerts in California last month.
He was cleared by the Secret Service to attend the sit-down at Trump Tower, despite only being released from his hospitalisation for mental health issues and extreme exhaustion less than a week ago.
Following their chat, West took to Twitter to revealed that he had wanted to speak with the next leader of the free world to discuss “multicultural issues” such as, “bullying, supporting teachers, modernising curriculums, and violence in Chicago.”
The father-of-two said, “I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.”
He then ended the bizarre rant by penning “#2024,” hinting he would also be running for a stint at the White House.
According to TMZ, the pair did not discuss the Famous singer performing at the Presidential Inauguration next month. Instead, Trump posed for photos with West and daughter Ivanka in his personal office, giving the camera his signature thumbs up.
“We’re just friends, just friends,” Trump said. “He’s a good man. Going well Long time – we’ve been friends for a long time.”
But when quizzed by reporters about what the meeting was called to discuss he said, “Life, we discussed life.”
It’s been reported that West, who had still been under a psychiatric hold in a Californian hospital until last week, also handed Trump a book of photos of nudes and people wearing hoodies and tattoos.
The meeting comes as a shock to West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, who supported Hillary Clinton during the recent US election.
In fact, speaking with In Touch, a source revealed Kardashian’s plans to file for divorce in light of the event.
“Things between Kanye and Kim were bad before he left, but after meeting with Trump, the marriage will be officially over,” the source disclosed.
“Kim was absolutely disgusted Kanye met with Donald and feels as if it’s a slap to their two children, North and Saint.
