Famous K-Pop band Apink are currently under the protection of Seoul Gangnam’s Police after receiving a threatening phone call.
An international media outlet revealed in an exclusive to Osen, “On June 14, around 9 pm KST about six or seven police officials rushed over to A Pink’s agency (Plan A Entertainment). It seems they were ordered to provide protection and immediately investigate the site after receiving death threat calls pertaining to A Pink.”
Extra security forces were also sent to the rehearsal studio where the band were staying in case any further threats were issued.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident to try and ascertain who made the threatening call.
The world renowned band have many awards under their belt, including MTV Awards for Best Female Group and Best Female Video.
They have embarked upon multiple successful tours in Asia as well as the U.S.
