The Nine Network has denied that they’ve removed Julie Snook from the Chatroom following her public spat with Amber Sherlock going public last week.
Both journalists have returned to our TV screens since the footage of Sherlock berating Snook over her choice in outfit was leaked to publication Mumbrella, but the pair are yet to appear in the same programme together.
However, Channel Nine has told News.com.au that Snook will feature on the news desk with Sherlock at a later date.
“Like all news programs, our line-up is a fluid thing that changes on a day-to-day basis, depending on the news of the day,” the spokesperson said.
“Some guests for the Chatroom may be locked in weeks in advance. Others may be booked on the day, should their background be a suitable fit for the topic under discussion.”
“Julie will appear on the Chatroom in the future and no, she is not being rested.”
Shortly after the clip went viral Sherlock apologised for her behaviour, explaining the high-pressure newsroom environment got the better of her. But Snook downplayed the incident insisting “these things happen.”
