She wowed in a sparkling silver gown at Karl Stefanovic’s lavish Mexican wedding to fiancé Jasmine Yarbrough – but Julie Bishop opted to recycle one of her favourite looks as she jetted back into Sydney on Dec. 14.

Both the politician who has been dubbed ‘Minister of Fashion’ and her partner David Panton sported identical outfits to the ones they left Australia in on Dec. 7.
Arriving at Sydney Airport with a trolley of luggage, Julie wore a simple white top beneath a black and white textured jacket.
She sported a pair of relaxed black pants and accessorised with glamorous silver, drop earrings and a pair of strappy sandals.
However, like many of us on long haul flights, it appeared as if Julie’s feet may have swollen a little on the journey.
Photos of her arriving in Sydney appeared to show the straps of her black and silver shoes digging in a little.
David, meanwhile, also recycled his look.
He sported a blue quilted gilet which he paired with a simple shirt, blue jeans and black and white pumps.
The couple looked relaxed as they arrived back in Australia – to be greeted by a reporter who asked Julie: “How was Mexico?”
Julie appeared to avoid the question – instead asking: “How are you?”
After the reporter replied and asked the question again. Julie appeared to say: “Fun”.
The reporter then went on to ask Julie if she agreed with claims Karl was “the best journalist in the world”.
The reporter appeared to be making reference to claims Karl Stefanovic’s ex wife Cassandra Thorburn made as she returned to Sydney after a weekend in Melbourne.
New Idea exclusively revealed how Cass told a reporter: “After we separated [Karl] … said [to me]: “It is very, very hard to be the best journalist in Australia, quite possibly the world”. That tells you who that man is and who he thinks he is.”
However Julie refused to be drawn on the subject.
“I’ve just got home guys,” she said, shaking her head a little.
