Julia Roberts is still eaten up over the fact she stole her husband Danny Moder from another woman, US magazine Life & Style is reporting.
The Pretty Woman star was the ‘other woman’ who helped break up Danny’s four-year marriage to makeup artist Vera Steimberg in 2001.
Julia fell for Danny on set of The Mexican where he worked as a cameraman. She was in a relationship with Benjamin Bratt and he was married. It labeled her a “homewrecker” and cast shade on her image as ‘America’s Sweetheart,’ made worse when Julia publicly shamed Vera by wearing a shirt that read “A Low Vera.”
“Julia’s extramarital romance with Danny came close to ruining her life,” a source tells Life & Style.
The lingering effects of the affair are still painful for Julia, who wed Danny on July 4, 2002 and has three children with him, twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, now 12, and Henry, 10.
“She’s rebuilt her image, but she’s still not back to where she was originally,” says the source, adding the affair “nearly totaled her career and personal life.”
