Julia Roberts’ marriage to Danny Moder is reportedly unraveling fast, with sources today telling US magazine In Touch today that the two are living separate lives in different residences.
The actress, 49, reportedly now feels she has nothing in common with her cameraman husband, 47. And with a $140m fortune at risk, things may soon get very ugly.
‘Julia and Danny have, for the most part, been living in separate houses,’ a source tells In Touch. ‘He’s been staying at a smaller home they own across the street from their main Malibu residence for a while now.’
Their differences are said to be driving a wedge between them, and the source says, ‘This was less apparent when Julia was working on movies steadily. But now that she’s home more, the reality of the dismal state of their relationship started to become something she could no longer ignore.’
Danny was nowhere in sight as Julia cosied up to her friend Brad Pitt at a November 7 screening of ‘Moonlight’ in LA.
Julia was smiling for the cameras ‘but privately she was upset and confided in Brad about her marriage,’ the source tells In Touch. ‘She knew he’d understand because he’s going through his divorce with Angelina [Jolie] right now. They were there for each other.’
It will take a miracle to fix Julia’s marriage to Danny and if that doesn’t happen, ‘she’s done,’ adds the source. ‘The next step is divorce court.’
