Last week, former Home and Away star Johhny Ruffo announced that he would be releasing new music, after going through his rigorous cancer treatment following a devastating brain cancer diagnosis.
The news delighted fans and watched in anticipation as the former The X Factor Australia finalist counted down the days on social media, posting a tantalising new image of broken glass each day.
The first of his posts stated that we would be hearing the track on Friday, 28th of June, but luckily for us, Ruffo has given his fans a snapshot of his new song a day early!

The song is (presumably) called Broken Glass, and by sounds like a power ballad if ever we did hear one.
Ruffo is yet to speak about what has been his source of inspiration for his new music.
In May, Ruffo spoke on the Fitzy and Wippa show to give his fans an update on his health.
“Currently clear of cancer,” Ruffo told the radio hots, “I’ve gotten the all clear, so no more cancer. I’ve just got to hope it stays that way.”
