Los Angeles police have revealed they won’t be charging Johnny Depp with abuse after finding no evidence of injury or disarray when they were called to the couple’s apartment. The news will be a blow to Amber Heard’s claims he threw a phone at her on the evening in question, prompting her to file for divorce after 15 months of marriage.
A new report claims Amber is now planning to file a new police report detailing her allegations of abuse. ‘Amber is working up the courage to do it,’ a source tells Radar Online, adding that she ‘is being encouraged by friends to do it not only for herself but other women who are victims of domestic violence’.
Meanwhile, Johnny appeared oblivious to the 30-year-old’s latest move on a booze-fuelled night out in Sweden, where he was photographed looking cosy with a stunning brunette. The 52-year-old actor and his entourage kept the city’s Grand Hotel open following a sell-out gig with Johnny’s band, The Hollywood Vampires.
Back home in LA, Amber’s legal team have been fiercely defending her, saying: ‘Amber is simply a victim of domestic violence, and none of her actions are motivated by money. Amber is a brave and financially independent woman who is showing the courage of her convictions by doing the right thing against Johnny’s relentless army of lawyers and surrogates.’
