Kevin Costner and Kelly Preston reportedly had an affair two decades ago while they were making the movie For Love of the Game, and it drove her husband John Travolta into a jealous fit, according to outrageous allegations published today by US tabloid The National Enquirer.
Details about the alleged fling were purportedly found in a journal belonging to John’s late business manager, Jonathan Krane, and which has been obtained by The Enquirer.
According to The Enquirer, Krane – who passed away in August 2016 – detailed the complicated nature of Kelly and John’s marriage that allowed the Pulp Fiction star to have “as many homosexual relationships as he wanted, but no heterosexual ones.”
“John was pretty secure about Kelly, but I heard Kevin really pressed his jealousy buttons,” a source tells the publication.
An entry in Krane’s journal seems to attest to that: “Kelly showed signs of breaking under the pressure of hiding JT’s [John] affairs. She told me she had an affair with Kevin Costner.”
When John caught wind of Kelly’s alleged affair with Kevin, he stormed onto their movie set for a showdown, The Enquirer’s source says.
“Then they went into Kevin’s trailer to finish the argument,” the source dished, adding that John ordered Kevin to “keep away from Kelly.”
Adds the source: “The revelations about Kelly and knowledge this damning diary still exists is John’s worst nightmare. Krane knew all his darkest secrets. He must be quaking in his boots.”
The parties concerned have yet to respond to The Enquirer’s outrageous allegations.
