US actor John Goodman has shown off his staggering body transformation during an appearance on ABC’s Live with Kelly.
The 64-year-old was on the show to promote his new play The Front Page, however viewers were left stunned by his newly slimmed down frame.
Having previously shed around 45kgs, John has never revealed the exact amount of weight he’s lost however after ballooning to over 180kgs, the actor is said to have made the decision to start taking care of his health two years ago.
John’s career has spanned more than 30 years with movies including The Big Lebrowski and The Flintstones under his belt.
But he is still probably best known for playing cuddly husband Dan Conner in sitcom Roseanne.
Although his larger frame made him instantly recognizable amongst fans, the 10 Cloverfield Lane star admitted to ABC News last year that something had to change.
‘I just stopped eating all the time, I’d have a handful of food and it’d go to my mouth.
I was just eating all the time. I was just eating alcoholically.
‘In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a six-pack of bud or whatever and just go back to my old habits.
‘Then this time I wanted to do it slowly, move, exercise. I’m getting to the age where I can’t afford to sit still anymore. And it gives me the energy to work, ‘cause work is very draining.’
