The now infamous video showing Nine newsreader Amber Sherlock throwing the ultimate diva strop over colleague Julie Snook’s white top has gone viral.
On Thursday night, parts of the clip were played on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, sending the audience into fits of laughter.
‘I know it’s early but that could turn out to be clip of the year!’ Jimmy said of the clip now being dubbed ‘Jacketgate’ in his opening monologue.
‘I don’t know who decided to release this tape but whoever that was I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.’
‘It’s like a comedy there. Get those women on The View immediately,’ Kimmel joked, referring to the popular US talk show.
The clip of Amber berating Julia for daring to turn up in the same colour top as her made headlines earlier on this week, with reports suggesting the mole who circulated the video internally has been ‘flushed out’ according to News.com.au
It’s understood Nine is deciding what action to take against the person, the news website reports.
