It’s been a tough few weeks for Jessica Alba and her family.
The Hollywood star has announced that her beloved pet dog Bowie passed away over the weekend, less than two weeks after the death of her 16-year-old pug Sid.
The actress took to Instagram on Monday to break the tragic news to her 11.3 million followers.
“Came home to a dog less home- our sweet girl Bowie is now resting in peace with her sister Sidders 😔,” she began the post.
“It’s been a rough two weeks. Will cherish our last night cuddling forever. 💔 Bowmeister was the sweetest love bug. RIP Bowie.”
Along with the heartbreaking tribute, the pregnant mother-of-two also shared an album of treasured family snaps.
Fans were quick to send their condolences, with celebrity pals Gwyneth Paltrow and Aaron Paul also providing words of support.
“No! This is so sad. Sending you all love,” Paltrow wrote.
Paul added: “Lots of love.”
