Jesinta Franklin (nee Campbell) has clapped back at a critic on social media who slammed a photo of her and her husband Buddy Franklin as “sterile.”
The model took to Instagram to on Wednesday to congratulate her beau for being named in the AFL All-Australian team and share a red carpet snap of the pair at the prestigious event.
“Congratulations to my amazing husband on being recognised for his amazing achievements this year,” she wrote.
“What happens on the field is only achieved by hard work, dedication and sacrifice off the field ❤ A true inspiration x.”
But while the 26-year-old gushed with love for her hubby in the post, one follower was less than impressed.
“Looks good but, sorry so sterile looking,” the user commented. “Wrap your arms around your well achieving husband maybe?”
Clearly unimpressed with the outlandish remark, Jesinta couldn’t help but explain herself.
“Honey, there was not enough Hollywood tape required for any arm movement I’ll tell you that much for free,” she said, referencing her black tuxedo dress that featured a plunging neckline.
Many of Jesinta’s 409k fans were quick to defend her.
“U poor thing – having to justify why you didn’t have your arm around your husband,” one follower wrote.
“Some people *shakes head*.”
Despite her unfortunate wardrobe malfunction, Jesinta and Buddy were all smiles for the rest of the night.
The loved-up couple even shared a laugh as they posed for pictures together.
