After a string of box-office flops and disastrous reviews, Jennifer Aniston has come up with a bold new plan to top Hollywood’s A-List again – and it involves her Friends cast mates and surprisingly, ex-husband Brad Pitt.
Depressed after watching the likes of Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon dominate the Emmys last week, sources say Jen is more desperate than ever to make a comeback.
To do that, she’s reigniting plans to do a movie version of Friends, and is calling on a raft of big-name stars who made cameos on the 90s hit series.
And while some of the Friends cast – comprising of Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow – have been reluctant to sign into a box-office version of the sitcom that made them stars in the past, Jen is confident she can turn them around.
‘Jen was jealous as hell watching the Emmys and seeing so many of her fellow A-list actress friends getting big awards and being at the peak of their careers,’ says a source close to the 48-year-old star. ‘She was really flat afterwards – but has since become absolutely determined to turn things around, and knows Friends The Movie is just the way to do it.’
While details are vague on when the film will actually be confirmed, sources reveal that Jen ‘will stop at nothing’ at making this a reality.
