Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban made up for lost time by making The Oscars a date after they both went solo to other recent awards shows.
The actress, who lost out in the Best Supporting Actress category to Viola Davis, at least had Keith to lean on.
The couple sat front row and were seen smiling and having a blast during the Kimmel-hosted ceremony, catching up with many showbiz friends including Jennifer Aniston.
They showed what good sports they were too when they warmly welcomed an unsuspecting crowd of Hollywood tourists who were led inside the theater during the show.
Keith made the night last longer by taking selfies with his wife, who looked lovely in a nude beaded gown by Armani Prive.
“I’m actually very comfortable right now so that’s a good thing,” she said of her dress.
It wasn’t all about Nicole – she praised Keith’s music and his latest album Ripcord and how it’s been connecting with fans earlier on the red carpet.
Meanwhile, Jennifer looked stunning in a glittery, partially sheer black dress with thigh-high split as she introduced the In Memoriam tribute.
She had a catch in her throat as she remembered Bill Paxton, who died Saturday at age 61, and so many others who passed away this year, heralding “their lives and their beautiful work.”
Jennifer coughed and said, “Sorry.”
Fortunately, Jennifer had husband Justin Theroux watching and waiting in the audience to cheer her up.
