Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are fearing for their own marriage, after their regular double-date pals Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s shocking split.
Last month, the Zoolander star announced his separation from his actress wife of 17 years, and it’s cast a heavy pall over their close-knit group of friends.
‘This really has left Jen in a state of shock,’ an insider tells New Idea.
‘It’s definitely made her question her own marriage, because if Ben and Christine can’t make it, she fears her and Justin’s relationship could very easily go the same way.’
There’s no doubt Jen and Justin, 45, have been having a tough time lately. The couple are said to be at war over a string of issues, particularly the old arguments over LA versus New York and Justin flirting with other women while they’re apart.
‘It’s not great, and hearing about Ben and Christine – not to mention the shock split of Brad and Angelina – as well as Jen’s close pal Jennifer Meyer, who split from hubby Tobey Maguire, Jen feels like they’re surrounded by divorce right now,’ adds the insider.
