Supermodel Janice Dickinson has opened up about her cancer treatment, revealing she is keeping her breast implants.
Following her breast cancer diagnosis in May, Dickinson said she was speechless. ‘I had a feeling of detachment, she tells PEOPLE.
Adding, ‘There was no self-pity, but I worried about leaving my family.’
Once she dealt with her fears and came up with a treatment plan, Dickinson said she was ready ‘to kick the bricks.’
‘As soon as I went to see the machines at the oncology unit, I was just able to go through this process of become proactive. It all finally made sense,’ she said.
‘I’ve had side effects from the radiation. And I have a tiny bit of scarring. But I’ve been lucky. They’ve told me I can keep my implants.’
