Janet Jackson has broken her silence for the first time since confirming she is pregnant.
Taking to Twitter, the 50-year-old gave her fans an update on her health.
‘Hey you guys.. It’s been awhile.. but I’m still listening,’ Jackson wrote on Saturday. ‘I feel your love and prayers.. Thank you.. and I’m doing well.’
‘Al Hamdu lillah,’ she concluded, which translates from Arabic to ‘Praise be to God.’
Jackson confirmed her pregnancy last month in a photo shoot with PEOPLE.
The star hinted that she was ready to start a family with husband Wissam Al Mana after she postponed her Unbreakable World Tour
‘She is super excited about her pregnancy and is doing extremely well,’ a source previously told the publication. ‘She actually feels very good about everything.’
Meanwhile, it was revealed her baby’s name may be inspired by Michael Jackson.
