In her tell-all memoir, Teen Mom star Janelle Evans claimed she suffered a miscarriage after her ex-husband, Courtland Rogers, “punched her in the gut.”
But now, the shocking truth has come to light.
Official court papers obtained by Radar Online detail a warrant for Rogers’ arrest back in 2013.
The document states that the defendant “unlawfully and willfully did commit a battery on a pregnant woman,” by “grabbing her hair and slamming her against the wall.”
Two more warrants were issued against the 31-year-old later that month: one for assaulting his then lover and another for “smashing her head against the floor and wrestling her attempting to take her vehicle keys.”
However, these police reports tell a very different story to what the MTV star penned in her book, Between The Lines: Diary of a Teenage Mom.
“Courtland slapped me around a few times, then started punching me in the gut,” she wrote.
“I packed a bag and went to spend the night with my mother. I woke the next morning to a pool of blood between my legs.”
Despite these allegations, Rogers insists he never laid a hand on his former wife.
“I never in my life have hit her,” he said.
“I never ever physically hit her in that type of manner.”
He continued: “I swear to God. Not drunk. Not high. Not sober. It never happened.”
Evans and Rogers officially split in 2014 after two years of marriage.
