James Van Der Beek is officially over talking about Dawson’s Creek.
The former cast member of the hit 90s show sat through an awkward interview on UK TV show This Morning where he made it clear he’d much rather talk about his current projects than a show he appeared in 20 years ago.
James looked visibly uncomfortable as hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby kicked off the program by stating how former stars Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams and Joshua Jackson thrived in Hollywood, before lamenting ‘what happened to the main man himself?’
‘I have been on television for the last 20 years, just to let you know,’ a visibly disgruntled James shot back.
While the hosts did eventually get around to asking james about his current TV show Carters Get Rich, the 40-year-old kept his answers brief.
And Twitter users were quick to pick up on the awkward exchange.
While some labeled James as ‘touchy’ and ‘awkward’…
Others labelled the hosts as ‘demeaning’.
