According to US website TMZ, Aussie billionaire James Packer sent fiance Mariah Carey dozens of loving emails in the lead-up to their split in September. The apparent leak comes as Mariah’s team try to paint her as a victim of his interfering advisors.
In emails obtained by the gossip site and reported by major news outlets around the world today, the billionaire businessman appeared smitten directly before the split, apparently giving the singer his surname, referring to her throughout as MCP – Mariah Carey Packer.
In one email published by TMZ, dated just a few weeks before the breakup, James apparently wrote:
‘I’m in love with you and can’t wait to get married and be together forever,
‘There’s a song I’m listening to now that’s got lots of meanings and I hope it makes u smile. When you get caught between the moon and New York City best that you can do is fall in love’.
In another declaration of love, TMZ reports the Aussie mogul to have sent Mariah an email with the subject line, ‘Will U marry me soon MCP pls -:))))).’
It is unknown how the site came to posses the emails. Neither party has yet commented on the leak.
