Now, Jackie O Henderson has weighed in on Karl Stefanovic’s controversial love life, revealing why she believes the Today show host has lost many of his female fans.

“Women are angry with him,” entertainment reporter Peter Ford began during a live segment with the radio personality and her co-host Kyle Sandilands.

But when Kyle asked what had caused the dramatic slide in Stefanovic’s personal ratings in recent months, Jackie was quick to jump in and explain.

“They see a mother who stood by him for all those years,” she said.

“This is what a lot of women think, Kyle: This is a lovely lady that stood by him for years, they have a family and they see him leave her.”

“Again, this is what they link. ‘He’s just left her for some young 20-year-old and he’s cavorting around, kissing her, cuddling her, for everyone to see,” she added.

The 42-year-old then went on to explain that the veteran breakfast TV host’s behaviour has struck a chord with many wives who fear for their own marriages.

“They also believe that could happen to me,” she said.

“And guess what?” Kyle added. “It can happen to you, ladies.”

“It can!” Jackie O agreed.

“They look at Karl and blame him,” she explained, suggesting that some women were choosing to take their own insecurities out on the star.

“It’s going to take him some time to repair that.”

This comes amidst reports that Cassandra is set to walk away from the divorce with $6 million in cash and assets, while Karl has received just $500,000 in the settlement.

The former couple have agreed to share custody of their three children.
