She revealed she had split from her husband Lee Henderson late last year – but newly single Jackie ‘O’ Henderson took some time out to ring in the new year with PR maven pal Roxy Jacenko.
Sharing a snap of herself with Roxy and her husband Oliver Curtis to Instagram on Jan. 1, Jackie quipped that she was “ready to bring in the new year (as a third wheel)”.
Both Jackie and Roxy sported long gowns for the happy snap – with Jackie dressed in a red and pink floral number, which she paired with thongs.
Roxy meanwhile wore her trademark blonde hair tied back – and sported a dress in white and bronze.
The trio happily posed for photos next to a large swimming pool located next to a Fijian beach.
Jackie’s Instagram fans were quick to use the photo’s comments section to show their support for the star.
“Happy New Year Jackie!! All relationships ebb & flow, i hope you & Lee give each other a second chance at being happy together, your dear little girl certainly deserves the effort. Sending you love,” wrote one fan.
Speaking previously to her radio show co-host Kyle Sandilands about her split from her husband, Jackie said it was not a decision they ‘took lightly”.
“I think Lee and I have been so lucky that our separation has been extremely amicable,” she said.
Jackie went onto explain that she has remained “really good friends” with Lee throughout their split, talking on the phone everyday and hanging out as a family.
Although the announcement of their split came as a shock to fans, it is something that has been a long time coming.
“It’s not something that happened overnight for us,” she said. “It’s been a long time. We’ve been separated for a long time. We’re just lucky that we were able to do it in private.”
