Jackie O health drama: Star found slumped at wheel
The Kyle and Jackie O radio show was thrown into chaos by a health drama this morning, when the blonde radio star was found slumped at the wheel of her car, confirms KIIS FM.
The drama partially unfolded on air this morning, when Kyle Sandilands was advised by head of content Derek ‘DB’ Bargwanna that Jackie had been located ‘slumped over the steering wheel’ in the station’s car park, apparently immobilised because she was in ‘too much pain’.
‘So she’s just laying on the floor in the car park? Someone should go and get her,’ a frantic Kyle was heard to say on air.
‘Someone tell me what’s happening?’
Bargwanna explained, ‘Jackie and I pulled in at the same time. I walked past the car and there she is slumped over the steering wheel.
‘I opened up the door and she virtually falls out of the car, she can’t walk, she’s in pain. She’s white as a ghost.’
Arriving in the studio, Jackie – who has spoken before of suffering from endometriosis – explained she was enduring severe period-related pain.
‘It started like regular period pain and then something happened in the car. I thought I was going to pass out and my blood went cold.
‘I thought I was going to vomit. I was just thinking: ‘I just need to get to work, I just need to get to work.’
