JUST two months away from their third wedding anniversary, a new report from the US claims Kim Kardashian is seeking a divorce from Kanye West.
According to In Touch, the marriage has been hanging by a thread for “a long, long time”, but Kim’s finally had enough and “is pulling the plug on their volatile marriage”.
Sources tell the US magazine the couple had a big fight over her decision to cash in on her robbery and spill all on the family’s ailing TV reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians – a move Kanye saw as a “powerful betrayal” after begging her to keep her ordeal private.
“She went against his wishes and exposed every detail on camera,” a source told the magazine. “They had a huge fight and he stormed out.”
It’s been four months since Kanye was hospitalised from a mental health breakdown – a situation that was keeping Kim from filing for divorce – but after this latest spat, she’s done.
“She’s been talking to her lawyer and divorce papers have been drawn up,” says the insider.
The couple have reportedly been living separate lives and on the few occasions they do step out together, they’ve looked miserable. On March 1, they went out for dinner in Santa Monica and an eyewitness told ‘In Touch’: “They didn’t even talk to each other.”
The tabloid tattler adds: “They had many issues before the robbery – they’ve been fighting and distant for a long time. When Kim needed Kanye the most [after the robbery], he basically went MIA [on tour], then had to be checked into a psyche ward. She realised she’d been alone in this marriage for a very long time. Kim doesn’t know how much longer she can hold on pretending.”
