A Florida millionaire accidentally married his granddaughter, but despite the shocking news, they plan to stay together.
The couple, who haven’t been named, realised they were related while going through family photo albums, The Florida Sun Post reports.
It turns out the the man’s estranged son was also the bride’s father.
‘When I saw my father in that photo album, I just felt an overwhelming sense of despair,’ said the 24-year-old bride, who met her 68-year-old husband on a dating website, telling him she had been kicked out of home.
The New York Post reports the couple made the discovery three months after their wedding, but don’t intent to divorce.
‘Every couple is different and special in their own ways,’ the bride said.
The man added: ‘I’ve already had two failed marriages, and I’m determined not to have a third.’
