They’ve been teasing fans since December with clues as to which brave celebrities are heading into the jungle for Network Ten’s next series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
And now, show producers have revealed the first three famous faces set to brave camp life.
First up is Tennis bad boy Bernard Tomic.
“It is not for the money. I am doing this because it is something I always wanted to do in my life,” the 25 year old told News Corp.
“This is reality, nothing can hide, this is 24 hour cameras and you are on your own and then the public can see who you really are. They (people) know me as this tennis player that is crazy and has done this or that or has problems. Hopefully I get the chance to change their image about me on this show and that is one of the reasons I’m doing it.”
Former Hawthorn AFL star Josh Gibson is also set to enter the jungle having left his team just five months ago.
‘I am washed up, done. I am old news… forgotten about,’ the 33-year-old told the Courier-Mail.
‘Being put in a camp with people you don’t know and having to forge new relationships and rely on one another is a really exciting challenge and one I am looking forward to.’
He also admitted one of his biggest, and strangest phobias, is of tomatoes.
The third famous face to enter the camp is veteran actress Kerry Armstrong.
‘This feels like a third act. I can do this gracefully, or I can do it in the wildest way that I can,’ the star of films such as Lantana and Oyster Farmer told The Sun-Herald.
