While it may seem, singer John Legend and model wife Chrissy Teigen are happily in love, there have been some rocky times.
The ‘Love Me Now’ singer revealed that he once tried to split from Teigen but she would not let him do it.
Legend, who was severely stressed at the time told The Guardian: ‘I was really stressed and busy. I was just like, ‘I’d just be happier single right now,’ and she was like, ‘No’.’
But those troubled times are well in the past with the super star sharing praise for his beloved wife: ‘She pushes me to be funnier, not because she’s trying to, I think it’s just being around her. And to be bolder.’
The hit singer also recently shared his support for Teigan after her recent interview with Cosmopolitan on her sobriety.
‘We’re always honest with each other, so we discuss everything that’s on our minds,’ Legend said. ‘When she was thinking about how she wanted to drink less, we talked about it. I just want to support her’ he said.
