He was the star of the hugely-successful Packed To The Rafters, but Hugh Sheridan is facing some teething troubles as he prepares to make his debut on House Husbands.
Currently filming the fifth season of the family dramedy which also stars Julia Morris, Gary Sweet, Rhys Muldoon and Firass Dirani, the much-loved actor took to Instagram to vent his frustrations.

‘A bit of powder and a bit of paint makes a boy look pretty when he really ain’t.” Quote from @ghouvardas #everyday #pleasegodnotagain #werk #inthechair #househusbands … The joke is that my scene today was dropped,’ he captioned a video before adding a tearful laughing emoji with a gun pointing at its head.
It’s a far cry from the statement Hugh, who has spent the last year focusing on his music career, offered when his House Husbands signing was announced in March. Released by the Nine Network, the 30-year-old’s statement said: ‘I feel very lucky to join the extraordinary team who have created this show’.
He continued, ‘I’m pumped to get on set and rock with the cast – I hear they’re a lot of fun.’
Hugh is set to portray Nick Gazecki, a new specialist music teacher at Napean South where all of the House Husbands’ children are currently attending school. His character is said to clash with Lewis Crabb, played by Gary Sweet.
Here’s hoping things improve for Nick very quickly!
