Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness have made an emergency dash from Sydney to Melbourne to support her sick mother, Fay Duncan.
The A-list couple had been spending time in their home in Sydney’s Bondi before they flew to Melbourne with their two children.
The Daily Telegraph reports Fay, who is already wheelchair-bound, has been unwell for a while now.
‘It’s a very sensitive time,’ a family friend told the publication yesterday.
‘The family want to be there for her.’
The 47-year-old movie star is currently in Australia filming the forthcoming Wolverine sequel.
He and Deborah-Lee have been married for 20 years and share two adopted children, son Oscar, 16, and daughter Ava, 10.
