Bridget Marquardt, one of the three original Playmates from Hugh Hefner’s The Girls Next Door, has revealed what life is like post Playboy mansion.
In an interview on The Morning Show, the bubbly blonde admits it’s been years since she’s spoken to Hef – despite her efforts to get in touch.
‘He told me there was always an open door… But I heard that that’s not quite true lately,’ she told Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies. ‘I called and tried to go to the mansion earlier this year but I’m just getting the run around.’
The 43-year-old appeared on the reality show from 2002-2009, alongside Hef’s other playmates, Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson.
The reality star froze her eggs nine years ago and has had three failed attempts at IVF since attempting to start a family with her fiancé Nicholas Carpenter.
‘None of my eggs survived. It was devastating for me, all this time I thought I had an amazing insurance policy but it didn’t work out,’ she said.
‘I thought I was doing the smart thing and the right thing, and I do still think it was, it just didn’t work out for me.’
