He was the object of her affection in the rom-com Bridget Jones’s Diary, but for actor Hugh Grant, his co-star Renee Zellweger isn’t ringing any bells.
Appearing on US talk show Watch What Happens Live, Grant landed himself in trouble after he accidentally insulted his former co-star.
The actor was asked to play a game where he was shown the top half of six of his female co-stars faces and guess who they are.
‘Who is the one second from the right? Because I’ve never seen her before in my life,’ said Grant.
It’s been 12 years since the pair starred together in Bridget Jones’ Diary. Now, the unlucky-in-love singleton is back with a third installment: Bridget Jones’s Baby.
Meanwhile, Grant recently opened up an interview with Howard Stern about what he thinks the key to happy marriage is and it has nothing to do with being faithful.
‘They [French and Italian marriages] take them [the marriage] extremely seriously, but it is understood that there might be other visitors at 5 o’clock in the afternoon,’ he told Stern.
‘You just never boast about [it]. They never say anything, but that’s what keeps marriages together.’
