Casey Donovan has been announced as the latest face of Coles’ Down Down advertising campaign.
The I’m A Celebrity Get Me… Out Of Here! winner shot the commercial in London with iconic band Status Quo just two weeks after leaving the jungle.
“It is definitely a song that gets stuck in your head,” she told Confidential of her Coles commercial jingle.
“The fact I get to have my afro out and wear a big red dress is a bonus.”
“It was such an amazing experience filming with the boys, even just sitting down between takes and chatting about the music industry and how it has changed and all of the weird and wonderful wacky things that is the entertainment industry.”
The Australian Idol star went on to say that her return to mainstream media was “a very long time coming.”
“I’ve worked really hard to be where I am today and to not give up,” she said.
“Like most Australians, I’ve been out there working. I drove for Uber and here I am now helping people save money with Coles.”
“It is all happening at once,” she continued.
“So many amazing opportunities have been coming up and I’m very grateful for that. Who knows where the next few months will take me?”
