How ‘spiteful’ Ange plans to ruin Brad’s Christmas

A source says Pitt has become “sad and frustrated.”

After Brad Pitt’s split with actress Angelina Jolie back in September, the dramatic custody battle over the six children they share continues to drag on. And with the holidays just around the corner, it’s been reported that the acclaimed actor is nervous he might not even get to spend December 25th with his family, with the star fearing his ex might spite him in a particularly hurtful way – by making it harder for him to access the kids.

“Brad hopes to see the kids for Christmas at some point, but when hasn’t been determined,” says a source close to Pitt.

The Allied actor has been desperate to spend time with Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins since Jolie filed for full physical custody of the children. Currently, Pitt’s visitation rights are determined by a therapist’s approval.

This comes after the 52-year-old was investigated by the FBI and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services after allegations that he hit one of his kids aboard a private plane. Pitt was cleared of both inquiries but has only seen the children a handful of times since. In fact, according to a friend of the family the “sad and frustrated” father of six, didn’t even get to share Thanksgiving with them.

In an email to Jolie’s attorney, Laura Wasser, on November 29, Pitt’s attorney, Lance Spiegel, refers to “scheduling and other logistical problems” that had resulted in “significant periods of no contact” between Pitt and his children. And in response to Pitt’s request for a “step-up in connection” over the festive season, Wasser argued that the Moneyball star did “not seem to have any regard for what the children’s therapist’s feel is in their best interests.”

Pitt has filed for joint custody, but the court hearing seeing to the matter is yet to be scheduled.

On September 19 Pitt and 41-year-old Jolie ended their 12-year relationship, with Jolie filing for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”
