While Ariana Grande is struggling to cope with the horrific reality that 22 of her fans were murdered in a terrorist bombing in Manchester, the star ‘s family and friends are increasingly worried about her wellbeing.
Surrounded by a strong team of supporters, the young star is nonetheless feeling the brunt of the unimaginable tragedy.
‘She’s still just absolutely crushed,’ a source close to the star told US People magazine.
‘She and her loved ones have barely slept this week.’
The young singer is seeking solace at her home in Boca Raton, Florida with her mother and boyfriend Mac Miller, but even the familiar faces and surroundings have been no help as she continually thinks about the suffering of the 22 fans and their surviving friends and family.
‘Her team isn’t sure yet how long Ariana’s going to be under the radar,’ says a source.
‘It seems like it could be a while, but we’ll see what transpires.’
The star’s tour has been suspended.
‘It’s less about her and her own state, and it’s more about [the victims],’ the source told People. ‘She’s alive, she’s safe. This isn’t about her — it’s about the victims.’
