After delivering low scores to the House Rules contestants on the day of their room reveal, besties Fiona and Nicole, both 44, have made enemies.
Now, Nicole comes clean to New Idea about what went down behind the scenes after the shock scores.
‘It became like a high school schoolyard,’ Nicole describes. ‘[The others] hated us from the beginning and they refused to speak to us.
‘As soon as we gave them the low scores, they didn’t like it. They actually refused to talk to us in South Australia, but we weren’t there to be the popular kids.’
On the flip side, Tasmanian paramedic Ella says the two ladies were difficult to deal with from day one.
‘It was so shocking,’ she says. ‘They were just so angry all the time.’
When Fiona and Nicole took part in the first ‘zone wars’ on House Rules last week, things got even uglier.
Going head to head with Sydney couple Troy and Bec, Fiona and Nicole weren’t exactly backwards in coming forwards!
‘Troy and Bec were the nastiest,’ Nicole claims.
‘They were always fighting. It was exhausting!
‘We would go home absolutely shattered from just fighting for no reason.
‘We were dealing with kindergarteners – total children.’
As for the other couples, Nicole says they treated her and her friend like outsiders from the very beginning.
‘It was a high school clique and it was clear they just did not like us,’ Nicole admits.
