Last night saw the twins suffer through an incredibly emotional and life-threatening experience, when Andrew was rushed to hospital after a piece of glass sliced his wrist open.
It was a matter of life and death as Andrew was picked up from site by an ambulance and was sent in for surgery.
‘I thought I was dead,’ Andrew, 27, revealed from his hospital bed. ‘I actually thought “I’m losing a brother,”’ Jono added.
Meanwhile, back on site, the teams were reeling in the wake of the accident. Without knowing the full extent to Andrew’s injury, Fiona and Nicole commented on the chance of the boys leaving the competition due to Andrew’s injury.
‘If Jono and Andrew have to withdraw that’s good for us. That’s going to mean that we’re automatically through.’
The timing of the comments had House Rules fans shocked, one fan even wrote in response to Fiona and Nicole’s tactics: ‘Says it all – they really are the lowest of the low.’

Another viewer wrote: ‘Is Nic serious? Is it good for them that Andrew and Jono might not finish. #disgraceful #whereisthecompassion #disgusting.
One team viewers loved were Sean and Ella. Both trained paramedics leapt into action at the first sign of Andrew’s injury.
‘Doctor! Doctor! Doctor!’ screamed Sean.
Ella then assessed the severity of the injury.
‘It looks like you’ve cut an artery,’ she explained, before rushing to find a medi-kit. ‘Your artery is literally straight from your heart, you can bleed out very quickly.’
Fans were quick to congratulate the Tasmanian couple.
‘I’m saying the obvious but #SeanElla were both absolute heroes tonight. I know it’s their job but they were incredible,’ one viewer wrote.
