When Luke and Cody Cook – the loveable country larrikins who took out the House Rules title earlier this year – received a call from the team at Make-A-Wish, they were all ears.
A young cancer survivor, Crystal, had a task for them. Her wish was what every 14-year-old girl wants – her own brand spanking new bedroom with all the trimmings.
And who better to put it all together than Luke and Cody!
Crystal was two when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. After a gruelling nine months of chemotherapy in Sydney, the toddler and her family were able to move back home for 12 more months of treatment.
