Rural Queensland brothers Luke and Cody didn’t think their House Rules journey could get any more emotional.
With just one more win between the duo and the grand final, the boys say they were overwhelmed with emotion when they found out the teams would be making over three units for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Luke and Cody’s close cousin Rob Cook and his young family had to live in similar accommodation close to hospital after he was almost killed in a farming accident on a Northern Territory cattle station in 2008.
‘It was just awful,’ Luke tells New Idea.
