Theyre the House Rules contestants that many viewers love to hate, and it seems that ultra-popular new judge Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is equally disdainful of Fiona and Nicoles design style.

While the women boasted that their renovations this week would show them in a new light after a lacklustre debut performance last week – saying this is redemption week for us – it was clear that Fiona and Nicole werent ready for what LLB had to say about their design choices.

First impressions werent the best for the judges, with an unimpressive door immediately creating a sour taste.

An unfinished, unpainted door – how fabulous! noted LLB.

‘I generally feel as though I’ve been sucked into an evil vortex of badly painted colour, he further quipped.

And he wasnt alone in the assessment, with co-judge Wendy dismissing the work as just horrific.

LLB further slammed the paintwork, saying it looked like a soggy sheep has been used to paint the walls, with Wendy agreeing the work was appalling.

The womens work on the houses bar area drew just as much criticism, with LLB infamously noting, ‘We’ve entered into basically, the design equivalent of some old weirdo’s shed, that has been decorated to make it look like he thinks a speakeasy might look.

And I find it really quite uncomfortable.’

Despite their confidence, Fiona and Nicole scored the worst of the teams, earning just 14 points out of 30.
